You need to create an account one-time only whether you have used C’Life before or you are new to C’Life. Use the Create Account button on the navigation bar. Simply record your name, email address, and set your username and password at a minimum. This step ensures your personal Login is set up plus provides accuracy of your Certificate;
B: Buy: Select and buy a course from the Catalogue using our secure payment system;
C: Checkout and Login: Login to find your course and test in your account.
Print your Certificate(s).
When you first order a course (and haven’t created an account) you will receive an email with a temporary password. Use it to Login and create your account with a personalized password.
If you have already created an account, just Login. If you have forgotten your password: go to Login, key in your email address and click on Forgot your password. An email will be sent to your email address with a temporary password to access your account, where you can reset your password.
What do I do if I forgot my password?
Login and click on the Forgot password link. An email will be sent to your email address with a temporary password to access your account, where you can reset your password.
You can choose to:
- Complete your course(s) and test(s).
- View and print your Certificate(s).
- Review your past orders.
- Update your account details.
- Change your password.
- Change your account.
- Access client newsletters.
To order another course, simply go to the Catalogue.
Why do I need to create an account?
Your account creates your order history in addition to providing information to populate your Certificate(s).
What will I receive after I order?
You will receive a confirmation of your order. If you are a first-time customer, an email is sent with a temporary password allowing you to Login and then create a personal password. Your course materials will be in your Account. If you are a returning customer, just Login and access your course materials.
Yes. C’Life does not store any of your payment details. They are used only by Stripe to process your order. Stripe is one of the world’s largest payment processing companies.
How long does it take to finish a course?
Each credit is the equivalent to one hour of study. Therefore, a 5-credit course would take five hours to complete. An advisor may find the number of study hours reduced by his or her knowledge, education and/or experience.
Can I repeat a course I’ve taken before?
Please refer to CE Requirements to see your regulator’s rules and policy in regards to course repeats.
How do I prove I have completed CE with C’Life?
You must pass the course test. When you pass, you will receive your Certificate.
You should print your Certificate and keep it in your CE file until your audit period is finished.
Is it necessary to complete CE?
Yes, for:
- Life licensees in all provinces except Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador;
- CFPs and QAFPs;
- Members of Advocis;
- IIROC registrants;
- RIBO licensees;
- CPAs;
- PFPs and many members of the banking industry.
Why are the courses not approved by FSRA in Ontario?
FSRA does not have a CE course approval process. To ensure our courses meet requirements for life and A&S agents, we rely on the approval of the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC). AIC reviews courses, sets provider requirements, and issues approval numbers. These are shown on every Certificate.
What are the differences in CE requirements?

Yes, C’Life will refund any purchase in its entirety prior to printing of the Certificate for the course. Once a Certificate is printed, no refunds will be given. Please call us at 905-731-4646 to process your refund request.
I disagree with your course author. How can I let him/her know?
Please send an email to info@clifece.ca describing the issue and you will receive a prompt reply.
How long do I have to complete a course and its test?
Your course and test are available until you complete your test. Certificates for completed courses are available in your account.
I lost my Certificate. Can I get another?
Yes. Just Login and go to Order(s), Test(s), and Certificate(s)
How do I get a duplicate receipt?
Just Login and go to Order(s), Test(s), and Certificate(s)
