How do I prove I have completed CE with CLIFE?
For video courses: At the end of each video, an Acknowledgement page will appear. When you click the Create My Certificate button on that page, this confirms that you have watched the video to the end. You must successfully pass a test for each video course. You will then receive an email with your Certificate as a PDF form. You should print your Certificate and keep it in your CE folder until auditing is completed for the CE period.

All print version courses also require that you pass an online test, regardless of province or jurisdiction. When you pass you will receive your Certificate.

 Video Issues - Freezing or Stuttering Videos
If you experience video issues, here are some standard remedies:

-- Restart your computer

-- Clear your internet browser cache

-- Make sure you have up-to-date Flash player - Download from Adobe®

-- Make sure there are no IT or security restrictions on streaming videos in your office or network

 Is it necessary to complete CE?
Yes, for Life licensees in all provinces except Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.

 Can I get a refund?
Yes, CLIFE will refund any purchase in its entirety prior to printing of the registrant’s Certificate for that video or print course. Once a Certificate is printed, no refunds will be given. Please call us at 905-731-4646 to process your refund request.

 I disagree with your speaker or course content author. How can I let him/her know?
Speakers and authors are responsible for their own commentary and content. Please contact susan@clifece.ca and she will deal with your concern.

 What should I do if links for courses and tests do not arrive in my inbox promptly after payment?
Course and test links are emailed immediately after you receive confirmation of payment. The links are sent to the same email address entered in the credit card payment form. If someone else paid on your behalf with their credit card and entered their email address, links can be forwarded to you. CE certificates are generated based on your unique username and password and will be in your name.

Check the inbox for the email address entered in the credit card payment form, right after payment confirmation.

If your course links do not appear in the inbox, check the spam / junk / quarantine folder. Security settings may push them there.

If your course links still cannot be located, please contact CLIFE at 905-731-4646 or email info@clifece.ca and we will resend the links.

Add clifece.ca to a safe senders list in your email program. This will ensure all links will be received in the future.

 How long do I have to complete a course and any required tests?
Upon purchase you will receive a link for your courses by email. You have 6 months to complete any course and required tests.

 Where do I login?
You do not need to login to our website to access your print courses. You will receive an email with a link to your course(s) and test(s) right after payment. Just click on the link for the course and read it, save it to your computer, or print it out. The links are active for 6 months.

Tests: This is where you login.To access the test hit the link and enter the username and password you created when you registered. If you have already done so, you do not need to register again.

 I lost my Certificate. Can I get another?
Yes, please contact us at least two weeks prior to the end of your licensing period for a substitute Certificate.

 Does CLIFE qualify for Certified Financial Planner® (CFP®) continuing education?
Yes, CLIFE CE qualifies as verifiable continuing education for CFPs. We suggest when you print your Certificate, you also print out the Course description and staple it to the Certificate. You could also include the speaker's bio that has been provided, though that is not strictly necessary. You can double check CFP® CE requirements at http://www.fpsc.ca/continuing-education

 Does CLIFE offer corporate discounts?
CLIFE is pleased to work with corporations and will discount course prices based on marketing support and the number of registrants from the corporation.
